About Nemont

Nemont Telephone Cooperative was organized in 1950 by rural community members seeking telephone service in northeastern Montana. Headquartered in Scobey, Montana, Nemont has grown into a full-service telecommunications provider offering fiber internet, fixed wireless broadband, DSL, voice, and wireless services across 60 communities in 8 states.

As a member-owned cooperative, subscribers automatically become member-owners with patronage interest. Nemont is actively expanding fiber-to-the-home infrastructure in denser communities and investing in fixed wireless technology to reach remote rural areas.
