About Jazz

Jazz was founded in 1994 as Mobilink in a joint venture between Saif Group and Motorola. The company rebranded to Jazz in 2017 following the merger of Mobilink and Warid Telecom. Jazz is a subsidiary of VEON Ltd., a global telecommunications group headquartered in Amsterdam.

With 73 million subscribers as of December 2025, including 55 million 4G users, Jazz holds the highest market share among Pakistani mobile operators at 37%. The company is headquartered in Islamabad and operates over 14,000 cell sites across Pakistan. Jazz also operates JazzCash, one of Pakistan's largest mobile financial services platforms.
