Fiber Broadband

Telia Lietuva

Telia Lietuva is the largest telecom company in Lithuania, operating fixed fiber and mobile networks. Telia holds 38.5% of market revenue and offers fiber plans ranging from 100 Mbps at 10-12 EUR per month to 1 Gbps at 20-23 EUR per month. Telia's fiber network covers all major cities and many towns.

Mobile speeds on Telia's 5G network average 111 Mbps. The company formed in 2017 when Teo LT merged with Omnitel and Baltic Data Center.

Tele2

Tele2 is the second-largest operator with 27.1% market revenue, focusing primarily on mobile services. Tele2 offers 5G coverage to 68.1% of premises and competes on mobile broadband pricing. Plans start at 15-20 EUR per month for unlimited 5G data. Tele2 also provides fixed wireless access in areas without fiber.

Bite Lietuva captures 21.3% of market revenue, offering both fiber and mobile services. Bite's 5G network covers 74.4% of premises. Fiber plans from Bite start at 12-18 EUR per month for 100-300 Mbps. Bite positions itself as a value provider with competitive bundle pricing for mobile and fixed broadband.

Cgates

Cgates operates as a smaller fiber provider in select urban areas. Cgates recorded the fastest average speeds in Lithuania at 156 Mbps in 2025. The company serves Vilnius and other cities with gigabit fiber at competitive rates.

Lithuanian broadband pricing is among the most competitive in Europe. Entry-level fiber (100 Mbps) costs 10-12 EUR per month from Telia and other providers. Standard 300 Mbps plans run 15-16 EUR per month. Gigabit fiber costs 20-23 EUR per month. Bite and Tele2 offer similar pricing with minor variations for promotional periods.

No Lithuanian ISP enforces data caps on fixed broadband. All plans include unlimited data. Contract terms vary: some providers offer month-to-month plans, while Telia typically requires 12-24 month commitments with promotional pricing. Bundle discounts of 10-15% are common when combining broadband with mobile and TV services.
