Epic Ltd is headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus and commenced operations in 2004 as Areeba after receiving the second mobile telephony licence in Cyprus. The company was rebranded to MTN in 2007 after acquisition by the MTN Group, then renamed to Epic in 2019 when Monaco Telecom acquired the entire share capital for EUR 260 million.

Epic has 251 employees and operates its own fiber and mobile network infrastructure, providing 5G coverage across Cyprus.
